I think you can use 10 characters per plate, and my company name at least looks pretty good with them when viewing the trucks from the front.
How?
I want to import the logo as a picture file, not having to recreate all using a brush or something!
I know that you can do that, but I have no idea how. :s Can you please give us a detailed walkthrough of how to do that? Thanks in advance.

It's not particularly difficult to do a skin but it's not simple either. You can do it using only free tools which are easily available. You DO NOT need PhotoShop which is very expensive. Either Paint.net or GIMP will work nicely.
It helps if you have some experience with graphics editors and DDS format graphic files.
