Because Steam is always behind with the latest updates. Too busy swimming in their money pool no doubt.

Steam is u.s company wait to later in the night they will probly patch or tomorrow..
So mean time you have time back up your profile and remove mods :)

Not sure. Im downloading the patch anyways. The ets2 patch might be out later at 1pm est when the servers update.

It's common practice for updates to ruin games, especially games like this... I'm a big fan of Train Simulator 2013, and whenever a update comes through, of this size, it's murder on the forums about people complaining of broken games, crashes, and all sort... So expect some things to not work... Might be a very good idea to start a new profile after the game has updated...

It might just take a short while until the update is coming out on Steam as well. There's no verification-process. Valve just need to publish it, which surely doesn't take as long as for MS or Sony to allow an update.
