ENB Mod

I have just downloaded & installed this mod, followed all the instructions but can't get it to work.
The mod asks you to "press SHIFT+F12 when in game" but all I get are tons of screenshots.Is this mod in compatiable with STEAM version of the game?
If anyone knows about this mod & how to get it to work in STEAM please post here. Thx.

i get the same with ENB, it looks great in video i saw. don't think sweetfx is the answer here.

hmm have not tried ENB mod myself, but I guess it conflicts with the Steam F12 "take screenshot" key, so try change in Steam to another key?

In steam:
View -> Settings -> In Game tab and change Screenshot shortcut key to something other than F12

I can't get it to work either and i don't have the Steam version. Video looks great, no idea what i'm doing wrong.

Tried Ks1313 suggestion & changed Steam screenshot key, but still can't get mod to work. Oh well lets hope we get ETS2 on workshop soon. Thx for the help.

you have to run the game in DX9 mode not OPENGL run "troubleshoot_dx9.cmd" in "Euro Truck Simulator 2\bin\win_x86" you might have to disable steam in-game too for it to work and Xfire if you are using that too,i use sweetFX (its the same like ENB mod)

Tried this myself yesterday. I've got some experience with ENBs having used them for Skyrim, Deus Ex HR and a bunch of other games. In Skyrim, I run SweetFX and an ENB simultaneously with no problem. I could not get this ENB to work in ETS2. I launch the game in DX mode always, and my Steam screenshot key isn't set to F12 - the ENB just isn't kicking in.

SweetFX IS a good alternative. It offers enough SMAA to get rid of a lot of the jaggies and a wide variety of other tweaks - Bloom, HDR, lumasharpen, liftgammagain, curves, sepia, vignette, cineon DPX - tonnes of stuff. I started off using SweetFX with ETS2 as well... spent weeks tweaking the numbers to reach a result that worked. But since World of Trucks and the Photo Studio has been integrated into ETS2 SFX stopped doing it for me since the ingame screenshot option doesn't pick up SFX (it's an overlay). After trying bunches and bunches of various gfx mods the best I've found so far (YMMV, this is obv a thing of personal preference) is the X-Brutal Environment - which is what I'm currently using, and the other mod that I really liked (more than XBE even) is Kacak's ENB mod but it made my game crash every couple of minutes so I went back to XBE.
Also I found many of the options in SFX to be mostly useless with ETS2. The only ones I ended up using were luma sharpen and some color vibrancy... bloom and hdr aren't very good and the AA options in SFX are simply horrible, unless you like having vaseline smeared all over the screen.
If you're trying to remove jaggies force driver level AA, which is actually TRUE AA, not that blurry smear that SFX brings (SMAA/FXAA).

The problem with SweetFX is it doesn't support Windows 10 or DX11-12. It's not an option for some of us.
