flipped my truck

call the emergency rescue, F7 if I am not mistaking. It is on your route advisor

You have to call for service. Hit F7 and then enter, and your just going to have to accept the fee. It will charge you money and time to take you to the nearest dealer (for servicing).

That, or re-load from a recent save to before it happened.

Sometimes this can be useful and it'll move you to the closest town which is sometimes on the route you sre going

Just load the latest autosave. Click the option to show autosaves at loading window. This usually loads your game very close before accident and you dont need to start over.

You have two options really...

1. Call for the tow truck which will haul your truck away for a fee or...

2. Keep trying to right your truck yourself, it's not impossible, see this video on youtube:

It doesn't always work but it's worth a try, especially if you are short on time or cash.

You can use the "freecam".

Press 0 (zero), fly to a suitable location with numpad 8,4,6,2 keys. Get close to the ground and press F9. This will drop your truck and trailer (upright) at the current camera position.

This is also a massive cheat to get to places you couldn't otherwise go to. Also can be used to fly quickly to another location without driving there. Used with the F1 pause key it can be considered a cheat.

It's really annoying that I had to spend so long searching online for a way to fix this. I hate having to go outside a game to resolve problems.

I thought the GPS screen looked pretty intuitive towards that little yellow phone icon on what it might mean, not sure why people don't just explore the games they play to find out how to do something, especially something such as this.

I think stuff like that's all mentioned about in the tutorial anyways isn't it? (where it explains about the various options / features on your little GPS/Computer display thingy, if I recall correctly).

I believe that you are correct but I didn't want to state so without going through the tutorial to make sure, and I didn't want to go through the tutorial screens again.

I'm pretty sure that when you flip your truck you will get a dialog box that tells you that you need to call for a tow service.

you don't have to restart, they don't take you back to the beginning. I think they take you to the nearest city. I could be wrong.

you could also just load one of the save games. the game auto saves all the time. Just have to hit the save/load button, select load, then check the box that says "show autosaves"
