Logitech Driving Force GT, look axis mappings, and other view-related mappings
For those using a Logitech Driving Force GT with ETS2, how are you setting up keyboard and control mappings for looking around?

I just switched from an XBOX 360 controller to a Driving Force GT, and find that driving (and parking!) is much more enjoyable.

But I must say that I miss having the joystick control for looking around.

Currently, I'm using L2 and R2 for look left and right, the horn button for interior forward view, the hat control for freeform looking around, and the '+' button for next view.

Any other suggestions?

Hi what an amazing game this is and your right its so much better with a wheel. I am using a Logitech Driving force pro, which I find amazing I am using Logitech profiler and have it on full 900 lock and 101 force feedback. For looking around I first used the Dpad for looking all around but this seemed to take longer so I now ues the Dpad set on left = NumPad 4 / Right Numpad 6 and up is centre which I think is NumPad 5. Also I have set up and used FaceTrackNoIR which does take a bit of tweeking but when you get it working its clever but does have its problems so not perfect, worth a go if you have a ps3 Eye camera or a web cam like me. Here is a link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6s6axA-mP0 I have had this working in City Car Driving and Euro Truck Sim 2 its very clever.

Changed settings for ones in above link for FaceTrackNOIR and what a differenct works really well now. Set Curves, Rotations and Translatons exactly as in links plus main setup for example smothing is now 28 and unchecked Invert Y etc. This is really cool now with the wheel and force feedback outstanding game.
