What is the point of this over the sleeper cab?

The Globetrotter XL cab has extra height making room for more storage space and plenty of headroom. It's easy to move around in the cab and two people can sleep comfortably. The driver can stand upright in the truck. Rest is storage and equipment.

Not to sound like a smart-ass but I gathered that much about it, especially from the internal views. I also found many "real-world" articles about them. What I was wondering is what the benefits were "in-game" to clarify.

Thanks guys! I heard a rumor that some globetrotter xl cab's reduced available engine size? Doesn't sound like it would affect this to me, however has anyone seen this happen?

No change to engine size. 750 HP is max size.
