How to transfer my profile?

Hi there.

I don't know if there is an exact topic but I couldn't find it with search.

I started ETS2 on one of my computers, now I want to continue. How can I transfer (copy) my first profile? Where can I find my saved games? I tried using search in the HDD were I installed it but can't find it.

Can u do it from world of trucks because I am on mac

If you know where your game saves and profiles are it must be no problem if you transfer it from mac to mac i don't know if it will work for mac to windows or mac to linux

First time i tried this game on steam, I thought it will cloud saved on my account, like many other games. But, it won't... Sad.
People will easily get the achievement from just copying other's profiles.

Go into your Documents folder and copy the whole of "Euro Truck Simulator 2" to the new computer's Documents folder. Done.

Might I suggest using links to MP3 files as well to save on disk space? :)

I have old computer and i play on them ETS 2, but i was bought new PC download ETS 2 and i havent a old profile. How i can load old profile. PLS help i dont know how. because i havent old documents. (sorry for my English :D )

Put your old savegame on an usb (from the old computer) and copy that in the ETS2 save files (on the new computer) and then you can continue.

thats odd i moved the entire folder to my new pc and it still wants me to create a profile. Plz help

Create a new profile (with a new name) and then log out and in again and your old profile should be visible as well.

Hey, if i copy my whole steam od disk, will can i get it to new windows and transfer it so all the games and that stuff without downloading it and save ets 2 profile?

Your game profile is saved in Documents not in the Steam folder. You may also find profiles for other games there, but that won't be all of them as there's no set place for games to save their profile data so you could find game saves in other folders on your drive.

i downloaded eurotruck sim 2 demo on my laptop i have just now purchessed the full game on steam is there anyway i can transfer the one on my laptop over to steam as i already started the game on that one? thank you

The demo won't have Steam Cloud enabled so you should be able to do exactly as the original answer says - copy the documents folder.

Hi, I tried your suggestion, and it did not work at all. I'm not sure what I did wrong, as copying and pasting a folder to/from a USB stick.
I looked into the while folder, and all the folders labelled profile are empty, the profile works fine on the old computer but just doesn't come up on the new, any other suggestions? Thanks for your time and help.
