Help G25
Logitech G25.
The settings in the profile of the rudder 780.
In the game when you turn the steering wheel more than 180 degrees (right or left), the steering wheel itself turns sharply to the side.
How to repair the defect?

Did you try 900 deg?

I use to play this game with my G27 and it was working good for me

Go into the controls menu for the keyboard controls, unbind any keyboard steering controls.

If you have assigned keyboard steering controls the steering will function like a digital control, so you will get full rotation with only a partial wheel input.

Unbind (remove) the keyboard steering control keys. Now the steering should be fully analog and respond only to the wheel.

When you are in the controls menu be sure you select "Keyboard + G25".

Before the last update I've also used 900 deg.
Now use 780 deg. so a more realistic. =)

I removed all binds in the "Truck controls"
The problem is gone!
Thank zbobg =)

@ALX-IF: I'm glad it works though I don't know why it should.

I looked at my keyboard and G27 controls, the keyboard has bound controls for steering but it does NOT seem to interfere with my wheel.

Maybe just changing something in the keyboard controls causes a reset of some kind that allows the keyboard (digital control) and wheel (analog control) to get along with each other.

Whatever! If it works then I guess that's what counts.

Go into your Logitech Profiler, set steering wheel to 799° in Controller Preferences, from one of the drop down menus at the top of the Logitech Profiler window. Then for the in game settings, under the steering section, slide the slider for Steering Sensitivity all the way to the right, and slide the slider for Non-Linearity (just underneath the steering sensitivity setting), all the way to the left. This should fix your problem.. It fixed mine.. Also, it doesn't hurt to remove any keyboard steering bindings. It may not do anything, but still, why not remove them, you have a badass G27 get-up...

I tried all the things above but still have the problem. The strange thing is that i have a second profile where the wheel is fine. No sharp turns after 180°, no nothing. On the profile i have the problem when i go into settings the thing that shows how much the wheel is turned shows that everything is ok, but not in the cab. Thanks in advance.

Can you take a screen shot of your settings? That would probably help. Because it sounds a LOT like my problem, when I set my Controller Properties to 780°-800°, I would have to turn the G27 wheel a lot to get the in game wheel to turn a little, but when I got to a certain degree, they matched up, and when I turned beyond that, it would accelerate past what my G27 was turned to.. Like I said, in my case, all I had to do was turn my Non-Linearity all the way down, the setting slider just below Steering Sensitivity, and make sure that my steering sensitivity was up. The bindings didn't affect it too much be I removed them anyway.. Are you sure that you don't have any secondary bindings for steering still enabled? Because I know that if you select keyboard steering, the game sets both WASD for accel. brake and steering, and also sets the arrow keys for accel. brake and steering. If you could take screen shots of your Logitech Profiler settings, and your in game settings for Controllers, Keyboard and Gameplay.

And actually, now that I think of it, I received an email from SCS support about the issue after I found a solution, and he sent me screen caps of every single one of his settings to make it perfect.. I'll try to post the images below.

*EDIT* Can you even post images in discussions?

Sorry i couldn't reply as fast as you did, but i had some work. I did take the screenshots you asked for and i checked if you could post images in discussions. Apparently you can't so i have uploaded them to imgur. Here is a link: http://imgur.com/a/XFnMc#0 . Tell me if you need anything else.

From what I can see in your screen shots, it looks like you do actually have your wheel left and wheel right set as secondary binddings in the keyboard setting section (at the top, where you assign keys to you horn, lights, and ect)... Remove those seconddary bindings (the secondary bindings are in the right hand column) and that might help.. when you have a wheel, you don't need to go into the keyboard bindings settings to set bindings for turn left and turn right, because the game already recognizes the wheel in the "controllers" setting section.

I think this may be causing an issue, two things may be occuring. When you set keyboard bindings for steering, the sharper to turn, the more turning accelerates to compensate for someone not being able to simply whip the wheel around because they are just pressing a key. Also, it could be causing your "instant wheel lock left/right" issue because when you set those bindings you turned the wheel to make it recognize the binding and set it, and maybe when you did that, it set the binding once the wheel was turned to a certain degree, and maybe that is the degree that once you turn past it instantly turns all the way to the lock either left or right...

Just try removing those "Joy Left" and "Joy Right" in the Secondary bindings column in your keyboard section. Get back to us and let us know if that helps..

Slingdong advises all true!
To solve the problem, "Preferences - Keyboard - Truck Control"
I deleted everything binds ... and put all the necessary from scratch. After this is not a tricky procedure, all problems are gone!

Good, I'm glad I could help. To be fair, other folks before me mentioned the bindings also, I was just the one to look at the pictures and notice the secondary bindings, so I don't deserve all the credit. Even if I do have a wonderful mind... XD

I think what can mess controllers up in this game varies from person to person. Because for example, my issue was only caused by the Non-Linearity setting being all the way up when it should have been all the way down, but I still removed all the bindings to further prevent any problems they MAY possibly arise, because with me, if a problem's possible, it's happenin!

I hope you're able to enjoy the game now. I know I sure was after I finally got my issue resolved.

Oh, and I just remembered, I noticed that you removed every single binding. Now, if you have enough buttons on your wheel and shifter to do what you need to do, that's great, but I believe it's only necessary to remove the bindings that have to do with steering and acceleration (top 4 in both columns, or the top 6 if you are using a shifter).... You can leave keyboard bindings for things like the ratarder, engine brake, wipers, headlights and such, if you don't have enough buttons on your controller setup..
