Great game: Spintires

I've seen videos of this in the past, and was very impressed with the scenery physics and terrain deformation. But I got the impression from those vids that it was nothing more than a tech demo. Is this turning into an actual game now, and if so, what content and gameplay does it have besides what I've seen in other vids (a truck, a jeep, and a big army crawler, and one small area with a few dirt roads and a river)?

It was just a tech demo,and an extremely small one. Although modders are doing well with adding trucks .
Its good for a few minutes fun and worth downloading

It was always going to be a full game, it's just that they released a tech demo to drum up some interest in the game, which obviously worked. But have a look at DaSquirrelNuts' video on it, he explains a lot about what the final game will be like but I don't think there has been any guarantees yet, well as far I know. But these are the details so far: You'll have to pick up cargo and try and get it throw the mud, forest and water, there'll be other trucks driving about, I'm sure there will also be a multiplayer, I think they'll be adding animals, a cockpit view, many more trucks and a much bigger map but just have a look around on the Oovee forums, that will tell you everything you need to know. Honestly I'm really excited for these guys, even the tech demo is pretty incredible and great fun so I'm really excited to play the final product. But I'm even more excited to see what Oovee do after, a South American version would be awesome but I want to see them do a truck and coach simulator because although ETS2 is good, there's just something about which I really don't like, so it'll be great to see Oovee have a crack at it

I'd really like to see this bloom into a fully featured game. I was very impressed when I played the current tech demo.

It is a game, it's just not finished yet. The only playable version of the game is indeed the tech demo

It will for sure don't worry! :') Spintires already has a pretty big fan base so it will definitely get through! But not as I know of, you could Google it I suppose or ask around on the Oovee forums?

This really is a good sim, I'm just getting into it, if anyone likes off roading have a look at spintires, it's impressive for a small indie studio.

I got it on release day and love it, needs improving here and there but genrally a great game, looking forward to wheel support and cockpit view soon

Should have been released with a cockpit view & wheel support (or in Early Acces). Now i'll just ignore it.
