im confused how do i activate the sequential lock??

not sure what you mean. if you don't want the truck to shift then use/assign a key to switch between automatic transmission and manual.

Driving Academy achievement? At minimum, transmission setting to sequential, and turn off "Smart Sequential Shifting".
