Report a translation problem
1. Kinda is but you can select the difficulty, in my opinion, the game devs could add more realistic stuff like getting out of the truck and fill the gas, better suspension and physics, better AI and less paid dlc's cause they're a lot and the vanilla game its not that funny(my opinion).
2. Yes it is, but maybe you'll have to configure a thing or two, there are tutorials out there that teach you that.

2. I would say the majority of players use a gamepad. KB/M is required to a point, for navigation. You can use the gamepad entirely to play, but it's easier to just drop the controller for a few seconds for menu navigation. The game has excellent wheel support.
The demo will give you a pretty good idea of what you're getting into.
I haven't noticed there's a demo for ETS2 earlier.
