Kein erstellen von neuen Profilen möglich // Problem to create new Profiles

Ich habe das Problem das ETS2 mir Mods eines anderen Profils anzeigt und ich diese nicht bearbeiten kann.... bearbeite ich sie, ändere ich die Konfiguration der Mods im neuen und im angezeigten Profil gleichzeitig (ICH BEARBEITE DAS NEUE PROFIL UND EIN ANDERES PROFIL GLEICHZEITIG). Somit ist ein erstellen eines neues Profils momentan nicht möglich!

I have the problem that ETS2 shows me mods of another profile and I can't edit them.... If I edit them, I change the configuration of the mods in the new and the displayed profile at the same time (IT'S AN OTHER PROFILE AT THE SAME TIME (NEW PROFILE + OTHER PROFILE))!!). So creating a new profile is not possible at the moment!

You subscribe or manually add mods into the mod folder, then what you see on the left side are all of them, what you see on the right side are mods active in the current profile only.

Im Playing this Game since 12 Years... that was not my Question, but thank you :-)

for example: Im opening a new Profile. Going into Mod-Manager.
There is standing in the Top "Profile with ProMods" and the Mods of the Profile.
When I'm change there the Mods, it will be applied for the New AND "Profile with ProMods".
If i want to Play another Mod wich needs its own World (for example Grand Utopia) i can't make these decison. Because ist Applys the ProMods-Mods.

If i change the Mods Again after a start with the wrong Mods, i can't do this decision anymore (and this since 12 Years :-D )

So what can I do? This is a failure of the Program, not of the User :D

Try asking on ProMods forum then, they should know more.

Versuche es doch mal damit den ETS2 Ordner aus dem Dokumenten/ETS2
verschieben Spiel neu Starten und wenn es dann geht ? das Profil wieder
zurück Kopieren o. Verschieben, kann ja sein das der Save Ordner Fehlerhaft
ist?

Überprüfe dein Viren Programm ob dies vielleicht es verhindert?
Spieldateien auf Fehler Überprüfen falls du es noch nicht gemacht hast?

Did you clone/copy a profile? Do they both have the same "name"? This sounds like the game is having an issue differentiating between the two profiles because they are, essentially, the same. I've never had a new profile be created and already have mods activated; the game doesn't activate mods on its own.

Ausprobiert und hat das Problem nicht gelöst.
Virenprogramm ausgeschaltet für den Versuch, selber Effekt.
Auf Fehler überprüft auch schon gemacht. Keine Dateien gefunden.

No, don't copy a profile. No, they haven't the same Name.
Have 4 Profiles and want to Start a New.
Oddly, he Displays evereytime the last Profile i had selected, when i Press on New Profile.

Miau echte Katze (Mia true cat) also ask if i copy (away) or rename the old ETS2 Folder and start ETS2 for new and copy the profiles etc back.

Didn't work.

Antivirus also no Problem
Repairing the Data via Steam also no Problem

@kaki_gamet - This is not a Problem from ProMods specificly... It happens with every other Profile with Mods also. So Should I ask in Southern Region, RusMap, Heilbronn, Grand Utopia Forums also?

Also Irgendwo gibt es oder ist da ein Fehler,sonst würde es ja gehen ob
im Spiel,Mod,Windows,Festplatte? kein Ahnung wo das Problem sein
könnte. Festplatte Checken auf Fehler,Defekt. Spiel Deinstallieren und Neu
Installieren,alle Mods Rauswerfen und Neu machen.

Spiel auf 4 Profile begrenzt deswegen kannst du kein neues machen?

Ich gehe von Spiel aus.
Mods alle entnommen und nur meinen Skin drinnen gehabt. Selber Fehler.
Anderen Mod rein getan. Selber Fehler.
Weiteren Mod reingetan. Selbes Ergebnis. (die drei waren einzeln drinnen)
Windows? Was soll Windows damit zu tun haben, wenn ein Spiel einen Fehler hat? Das ist mehr Mythos als sonst was.
Festplatte? Bei nem Raid? Glaube ich auch nicht...
Reinstallation vom Spiel: Selber Fehler.
Steam-Workshop Mods neu geladen. Selber Fehler.
Offline-Mods neu heruntergeladen: Selber Fehler.

Edit: Ich habe 50 Profile schon gehabt, also nein.

Edit 2: Nach 2 Neustarts geht es auf einmal wieder? Also ETS2 an, direkt aus und wieder an... Lädt ETS2 irgendwas aus dem RAM falsch? Ist mein RAM defekt? Ich teste es morgen noch mal in ruhe.

Bin seit langem raus aus Windows. Allerdings benutzt(e) MS's Filesystem VSS (Volume Shadow Copy). Evtl. ist dort ein Problem.

RAID's können sehr wohl Probleme dieser Art versrsachen...vor allem RAID5. Wie auch immer, einfach mal in die Log von Windows schauen, ob irgendwelche filesystem-warnings geloggt sind.
Früher hiess das mal "Event Log"....keine Ahnung ob das heute noch zutrifft.

Festplatten defekte können sich auf verschiedenen arten zeigen hab mal ein
Defekt gehabt da wurde Windows ganz Normal Hoch gefahren und geladen
aber mein Desktop war leer konnte auch noch den Explorer auf rufen Daten
Kopieren,als ich dann eine Neue Platte drin hatte war auf der Extern Platte
nichts. 😢😞. Nah ja war ja auch so eine Idee was es sein könnte


Wo ich hatte Heute auch ein Vorfall wo mein Spiel Abgestürzt ist wenn ich
die Karte auf gerufen habe, wo gestern war nichts,keine Ahnung was da war
hab dann das Neue Pro Mod Map entfernt danach ging es wieder, weiß nicht
ob es daran lag? oder Buggy ist weil ich bei Nordirland Städte u. Straßen im
Wasser war.

Das ist ein Problem mit dem Zoom, da gibt es hier einen Zoom FIx.

Hab keine Ruhe gehabt. RAM okay. Festplatten in Ordnung. Fehler nur belanglose Sachen von Fehlern, die Windows immer schon geschmissen hat. Ich gehe von nem Programm Bug aus in Zusammenhang mit meiner Hardware, wenn den Fehler sonst keiner hat... Zudem geht es ja wieder. Wer weiß was war. Danke Jungs und Mädels fürs Helfen
