I have a pirated version and i'm thinking of buying the actual game, but...
Will my save transfer to the legit game? Example: I have a save on my pirated version, and when i'm start playing the legit one(bought on steam), my save will be there. Will i have my save file on the legit version?

Well, you might need to create a new profile, then simply copy it over, but I could imagine, the steam game will simply allow you to chose the existing profile.
But just because that works, don't pirate games until they get cheap and then buy it and prepend to be a nice guy. If you don't like to spend the money for a new game, just wait, no need to play it then, there are always a lot of cheap budget games, which were once also expensive

Well, it's not that much of a thing if you pirate a game and you buy it after, since it negates the effect of a piracy. I got ETS2 a week ago, and i'm planning of getting it one month later(Xmas present). I have alot of pirated games, but most of them are 10-15 years old i mean, why would EA care that i pirated High-Stakes while they're making millions? There are exceptions, but most of the time, i end up buying legit the games if they have multiplayer. ETS2 i just wanna buy it because i want to support SCS and take out that Pink Truck bug, which doesn't annoy me.. alot.

Well 2 reasons...

The more people pirating Games, the more Millions extra they lose. Sure if you just say "well my 1 game won't hurt their wallet" doesn't make it sound bad, but in reality, it's not just that 1 person pirating, it's thousands, if not hundreds of thousands all over the world.

The 2nd reason is, piracy is stealing, and stealing is a crime. Not only can you get thrown a incredibly large Fine, but you can also do serious Jail time for it. The more your caught with Pirated Games, DvD's, Music, Programs [which ever is your drug of choice], then there are many cases when normal Tom ♥♥♥♥ and Harry's have served up to 20 years in Prison for what they also thought was "innocent".

Also, who ever told you that "If you Pirate something, and then Purchase it later, it negates the theft done" is totally full of themselves. I'd like to see someone go into their Local Gaming Store [or any Store], steal something, then come back a Month later to pay for it. If they don't get the Cops called on them, I'd be a Flying Monkey.

To me, I don't Pirate anything, not because I am worried they'll lose some income, I don't Pirate because I have respect for Gaming Company's and their Developers for the time and effort they put in to give us enjoyment in our lives. I think everyone should respect that.

My advice to you, is DON'T PIRATE!!! It's all well and good that you say that you want to support them now, but what about all the Games you Pirated and haven't ended up purchasing? They have lost out in their Wallet.

However, if you choose to not take my advice mentioned above, my next piece of advice that you should definitely follow, is don't wave it around like a Trophey. ESPECIALLY in their Forums that they Monitor frequently.

Try to steal a game in your local electronic market, if they catch you, tell them, you would have come back later to pay it. If they don't catch you, go back later but be sure, the game is in the "rest box" and tell them you would like to pay it now.

Yes! The answer is yes! I also had the pirated version and was at level 30 with 6 parkings and 25 drivers!
I bought the steam and my saves were kept, I did not create new profile, or save or anything new!
The only difference is that a shortcut appeared more euro truck simulator, but is one of my machine and the other steam.
