It's going to have an even bigger impact in that case, as far as I can tell.
With a more dynamic fuel consumption, I really didn't noticed better "MPG" until I upgraded to a more powerfuel engine. That's when my Litters per 100km went from 35-45 to 32-40
Let say, my truck have a 1200L tank and with any trailer, from full tank to empty tank, I can make about 3500 kms with a 3* eco-driving. One day, I make a 5tons / 12hrs trip and the fuel consumption was around 35l/hrs. The next day, I make a 20tons / 4hrs trip and the fuel consumption was around 60l/hrs [...] Each and every travel have a different fuel consumption but at the end of that week, I logged-in 1800l and 3600kms. Maybe next week, i will do 1400l & 4000kms and the week after that 1600l & 2500kms.
Hmm? How is it like cheating? It's just like in RL. If you drive everywhere and constantly put Full Throttle to get to your Speeds, your over working the Engine and burn through more Fuel than if you were gently taking it up to speed.
It only affects fuel economy when not using the Realistic Fuel Consumption option.
If you're taking External Contract or External Market jobs, then the Speed Limiter option will be forced regardless of your setting. That would limit you to 90kph.
I even choose to go 80kmh sometimes when in 90kmh zones because I wont have to ajust speed back and forth all the time and just sitting at 80kmh is actually much less stressfull driving than driving 90kmh.exponential
