Anyway to turn off the "Auto Pop Up GPS"?

Ahoy fellow Truckers and Truckettes.

I always play without the GPS overlay floating around the screen, but it's really annoying when I get tired and it Pops up and tells me I need to sleep, or when I get close to my Parking Spot, and it tells me to press so and so to skip the Parking..

It's a small annoyance in the Game, but is there anyway to completely disable it? I've looked through all the Options, so unless I'm blind and just keep missing it, or if there is a Mod or a way to Edit the Files to disable it?

I have heard of neither, and simply "ignore" the popups. Either I'm already on the lookout for a restingplace, or concentrated on parking the trailer. Happy trucking.

This allows you to remove the standard "box" GPS and have the information in a text line across the top of the screen (or anywhere else). Pressing F3 turns the normal map off and on. Really clears up the screen for me.
Information such as driver's income, "ticker-tapes" in the middle of the screen.
All your assigned keys F6, F7 etc still do that same thing, but they appear in the centre of the screen at the bottom.
Of course, you don't have to have it in the centre. You can have it top-right, or bottom-left, or whatever.
It does take a little bit of mucking about deciding which one to use (because there's a LOT of different variations in this mod pack) but thankfully there's readme documents included explaining how to use them.

I hate the dang music that plays when ur late .. so i turned off music and use my own.

As for GPS annoyance thing, u can't turn that off.

I do believe something like that should be in the Default Game, because it can get very irritating always have it come up, just to point out the obvious.

Turn off the Route Advisor then. F3. But you'll still get the parking popups and other pertinent information from time to time. I'm reasonably certain this is part of the game code itself, and not something that can be altered.

I know you are trying to help, but you don't understand my entire point yet. This is exactly what I want to turn off. I don't think they are pertinent when you have more than 200h of game.

There's a ton of screenspace below the GPS frame where they could have put these non-important messages, but didn't. There is however no way to change it. Guess they assume people don't really use the GPS.

Well, 200hrs not needing GPS prompts, means that 2000+hrs you shouldn't need buildings or roadsigns because by then you should know where they are. At what point should the game "realise" that the user doesn't want to be told what keys to press to do what?
Along with adding a "Cancel GPS Route" button, maybe there should be a "Turn Off Route Advisor Prompts" button.

Being able to turn off the "print layer" (for want of a better term) for the Route Advisor (and by association, certain notifications), should be possible through one of the .sii files in the route advisor folder. The fact that the dashboard GPS display doesn't "share" the notifications data, means that it won't be affected and still operate like a dashboard GPS.
What that does mean though, is you won't be able to check your truck's damage, or check your ETA, on the fly. But some folks wouldn't be bothered by this I guess.
