Report a translation problem
Put your modded files in separate folders named like the source folders keeping the source folder structure then zip them with STORE (none) compression. Name the result <some name here>.scs and put that file in your Mod folder.
So if you modded game_data.sii then you have a /def/ folder with only that file in it to be zipped.
I've modified the dash color of my new Volvo, it is one file and here is the resulting zipped archive:
The top named folder for the def.scs file is "/def/", that folder name must be present in a Mod for any modded file from the source def.scs file.
The top names for the folders in the base.scs file are various, the top folder name is NOT "/base/".
Examine (unzip) any Mod to see it's folders and files to get an idea of how Mods are packaged.
