Smooth recenter interior camera

Is there any way to setup camera that if I press interior camera(1 on keyboard, circle on PS4 controler) that it wont teleport but smoothly transition. For example if I am looking from the left window I want him to recentre by smooth head movement, not by teleport.

There are two key binds for panning camera left and right, but maybe those are not as "smooth" as you want. Personally I'm not using them and the camera swap is what I prefer more.

do you know how do I bind a hotkey to a controller in that plugin that you recommended? mouse and keyboard hotkey is working, but cant bind controller.

In Options -> Controls you can assign an axle to "Look left-right axis". That one is the smooth lateral movement.

I use the twist of my joystick (yes, I drive lorries with joystick) assigned and work fine. However the twistie does not recenter automatically. I use the numpad 5 to "jump" back to straight ahead.

The controls goes after the in-game keybinds, so simply choose the key for the action that you want. All the plugin basically does is making the transitions smoother.

There is an experimental feature in it, where it will automatically recenter once you let go of the specific camera button.

Not experimental feature, more like a "life hack" by altering control element into different purpose.

Video was for ATS but the idea is working with ETS2 too.

Hello is there any way to setup ETS2 to recenter the camera after I release right analog on my PS4 controler?

You can map the interiour cam to a button on your controller and you can press it when you want to recenter the camera.

Yeah but can it somehow be smooth? I tried some plugin but it doesnt read my ps4 controler when trying to bind the hotkey.

Then not unless you do it manually or you use headtracking instead.
