Pedals are not working
I have a Simucube Wheelbase and Fanatec ClubSport V2 pedals. They work fine in other games for example AMS2. However, in ETS2 the pedals do not work correctly. No matter what I set up, break is at 100%. I used to have the pedals connected to my old Fanatec wheelbase, then everything was fine. In my current setup, I can't get them working. QAny help?

Have you configured the function of each pedal in the game's built-in controller setup?
- check it again carefully for each individual pedal, and notice in particular whether one or more of the pedals might be configured for an incorrect function, for example so that the clutch acts as an accelerator, or whether one or more of the pedals might need to be changed from normal to inverse etc...

Yes, multiple times. For some reason, as soon as I assign one axis another one is messed up. At the end, inverting has no effect at all. Steering is also an issue sometimes. It must have something to do with ETS2 as I have no problems in racing games.

It is logical that if the pedals are defined for wrong functions by default, e.g. if the clutch works as an accelerator by default, something will happen to the other assignments when you instead assign an accelerator to the accelerator pedal.

Therefore, you must define each individual pedal, starting with the accelerator, then the brake, and finally the clutch.

I define the pedals the correct way. I've done this in several different games. I think the problem of ETS2 is, that it has a problem with wheel and pedals being different devices. My shifter is another one, On my old setup, they were all connected to the wheelbase, now everything is connected seperately. I never had these problems before.

Everything is calibrated.
Could you solve it, @Stockardrosss?

I have the Clubsport V2s with the axis mode for each pedal set to Normal in game (not Inverted or Centered). I don't see any option to invert the axes in the Fanatec Control Panel with driver version 455 other than manual calibration, but it sounds like @Icebear has the axis mode set to Inverted in game.

I'd check that you've explicitly added each of your input devices in the Controller Subtype dropdown boxes at the top of the Controls page as well.

Edit: My wheel, pedals and shifter are all separate input devices and I don't have any issues. The game would get confused if an input was just mapped to "X Axis" but the controller subtype menu separates each controller so "Joy 2 X Axis" and "Joy 3 X Axis" don't conflict.

It is very weird. I assigned the pedals, everything looked fine in the settings menu (both on normal). The throttle went up when I pressed it, same for the brakes. However, when I left the settings and wanted to start driving, throttle and brake where both at 100%, no matter what I did with the pedals. Back to the settings, it didn't matter what I set there.
By the way, the clutch is forking fine, it is only throttle and brake, which makes the game unplayable.

Have you disabled Steam Controller? Only use the in-game settings, and remember to apply them before leaving the menu.

Is your computer using OneDrive for the default Windows "documents" folder, even if you did not ask it to?
Windows will try to use OneDrive as the default documents location and ATS/ETS2 will not run correctly if it does so. All the game settings are stored in the ETS2 folder in your "documents" folder, if it is on OneDrive, it is stored online and there can be too much delay fetching the data, causing game errors.
Never allow Windows to use OneDrive for the default documents folder location.
Stop using OneDrive:
Microsoft official instructions to remove OneDrive:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/turn-off-disable-or-uninstall-onedrive-f32a17ce-3336-40fe-9c38-6efb09f944b0
The "home" directory for the game should be the documents folder on your C: drive.

How can I check, if Steam Controller is really disabled? For me, it looks disabled.

I don't use OneDrive, so that's no issue.
