From the UK myself, I don't find it any different driving on the opposite side compared to the rest of Europe.. and I don't drive in real life either. AI wise, I don't see there's that much difference, I've had more prangs far East than anywhere else. After a month of right-hand drive vehicles, my biggest challenge was driving a left-hand drive one, still working on that one!
As for small round-a-bouts, try Scandinavia, makes ours look big.

And that's Scandinavia, right, those four countries?

If you have a LHD truck set your units to MPH so your sat nav shows MPH and your dashboard shows KMH. For a UK based RHD truck, do the opposite. Generally cities and towns are 30mph / 50kmh, motorways are 56mph / 90kmh.

Forgive me bro, but I think you mis-read my post. I have no trouble with speed limits either in the UK or the rest of Europe, even though I never bother to change the driving side of my truck/speed units on my HUD. I take my time and obey the speed limit at all times, and only get flashed on very rare occasions when I miss the odd sign.

What I am asking is why are so many others complaining about speed limits, especially claiming that the UK is particularly bad for such limits. Why are other people having so many problems? Keeping to the speed limit is easy, and even easier in the UK compared to the rest of Europe because if you mistake UK road signs for kph instead of mph, you would end up going much slower than the speed limit, not faster than it.

I'm genuinely curious why people are complaining that the UK roads are so bad for collecting speeding fines. Am I the only person on this forum who respects speed limits in the game, and does everyone else simply ignore them and drive as fast as they can?

Honestly traffic circles/round abouts are a great idea.Once you get used to them.They actually save a huge amount of fuel becuase the vechiles do not need to stop the other alternative being a 4 way stop or a traffic light.On top of this they greatly improve traffic flow in comparsion to stops.

I was not a big fan of the idea until i got stationed in Germany.I had to use a traffic circle every day becuase every road that lead to the base had a traffic circle on it at some point.

Another great thing about traffic circles is no idtiots who do not know the the traffic rules when multiple vechiles arrive at a mulit direction intersection in which more than one road must obey a stop sign.With a traffic circle all you have to deal with are people failing to yeild and people not using thier indicators when they plan to exit the circle both of which can be easily countered by driving caustiuosly.

As to the game I see no diffrance between how the aI drives in the UK.the only diffrance is of course driving on the opposite side of the road.I also agree with Rhymane the speed limit is not hard to obey and in the UK your seeing an MPH sign therefore you could well exceed the speed if you mistook it for KMH and still be below the posted speed in MPH.In the UK 30 MPH in a city = about 50 KMH so the speed is acutally the same in any city the posted messure ment of speed is the only diffrance.

I pay no attention to the speed limit at all. I drive as fast as I can everywhere, but for some reason one of the mods I've got has generated a load of jobs that pay £200k and upwards so money isn't really an issue

I live in the UK and have been driving for nearly 30 yrs. However, I have problems adapting to it in this sim. I drive a LHD, as I know that 90% of all my driving will be on mainland europe. Find myself getting off the ferry and driving on the wrong side of the road until I see an oncoming vehicle which jolts me into evasive action. :-). But regarding speeds, I always make a point of going into the settings and changing from KPH to MPH and vice versa. Takes 5 seconds..........

I have found a major issue with AI not sure if it's everywhere or not seems more prominaent in UK but,,, Traficlights and turning. The AI seems to stop in the middle of the junction wait for red (Holding me up) andthen makes it's move, even when the road is clear....

Driving in England seems fine to me. About the speed limits 30 mph. app.48 kph, 50 mph. app. 80 kph and 60 mph. app. 96 kph. I have that printed on a pice of paper and refer to that in England and stays out of most problems. Regarding the AI = to those at the continent :)

Canada switched over to metric years ago. Soon as you get into the states its mph. And if US drivers come up north they have to adjust as well. Just takes getting use to. Cruise control helps a lot for holding speed.
