Joystick as H shifter!

I have a Thrustmaster USB Joystick (http://www.amazon.com/ThrustMaster-2960623-Thrustmaster-USB-Joystick/dp/B0002EAA36), I have seen a lot of videos of people using joysticks as Hshifter for ETS2, when I download FFshifter I get an error about the Force Feedback, how can I solve this? I've also tried with Xpadder but I can't set the axis and the buttons.
(My pc recognizes the Joystick though)
