Tried it on version 1.51, and it still shows nothing. Also tried it on rusmap to see if Jan mayen was the probleem, but it wasnt
Add this command line parameter for normal game launch:
-no_user_map_mount

If your map modifications still not showing in the game, I have no idea what else may causing it. Maybe something has been missed or skipped during map editing. Also check the game log file for errors and warnings as an additional clue.

I made an expansion on rusmap as a test, but this is an error that showed up.
The Direct Storage error code 0x89240007 mean your "RusMapedit_Models.scs" file has an entry where it's length larger than the file itself. Simply said the file is corrupt or not packed properly. I suggest to pack the file in "store" mode and maintain the .zip extension (not rename it to .scs) to minimize problem.

Judging by the file name, you shouldn't put and mix map data with model assets especially if you are using another map mod as your base project.

If you are relatively new to map editing, it is advisable to not create your map mod based on another map mod. Instead, create a new game profile for map editing—without mods, without cloud saves, without WoT login. Later you can pack your mod and activate it from your another profile for regular gameplay.

I tried to only use the section files of the edited part, but its still not working, also tried to use it in a zip file instead of scs. And how do i seperate the map data and model assets, cant find anything in Google.

I also tried to load the promods map, so i put all the promods files in the mod folder, but when i load the map editor, it wont show.

Could you explain how to seperate map and model assets?

Could you explain how to seperate map and model assets?
Pack "map" folder into single independent zip file. Do not mix it with other mod file. Do not modify or repack anyone else's mod files.

Map mods that well managed usually consist of several mod files: One for "/map" folder. One for "/def" folder. One for texture asset "/material" folder. One for model asset folders (usually combined of /assets, /automat, /model, /model2, etc folders). One for anything else not included in prior files.

Assuming you are about to connect Rusmap to ETS2 base map:
  1. Open base map (europe.mbd) with the Map Editor. Find a good location that will be connected with Rusmap.
  2. Create a new road and connect it to another road, junction, prefab, etc and let the other end unconnected. Assuming our modification will only occupy 1 sector at "-1000+1234" (zoom out the map and then press A in the editor to show current sector). Once done, save the map.
  3. Assuming the Rusmap map is stored in "rusmap_map.scs" and map name is "rusmap", extract Rusmap map data files ("/map" folder in rusmap_map.scs) into "Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod\user_map\" folder. The Rusmap map location would be in "Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod\user_map\map\rusmap\" folder.
    Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod\user_map |-- (map) |-- (rusmap) | |-- sec ... | \-- sec ... \-- rusmap.mbd
  4. Copy the following sector files from "Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod\user_map\map\europe\" folder into Rusmap "Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod\user_map\map\rusmap\" folder:
    sec-1000+1234.aux sec-1000+1234.base sec-1000+1234.data sec-1000+1234.desc sec-1000+1234.layer (if exist) sec-1000+1234.snd (if exist)
  5. Now open Rusmap with the Map Editor. Go to sector -1000+1234 and connect the road with base map (by creating road extension, etc). Save the map.
  6. Repack the Rusmap edited map by putting modified sector files in "Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod\user_map\map\rusmap\" and "rusmap.mbd" back into "rusmap_map.scs" file.
    Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod\user_map |-- (map) |-- (rusmap) \-- rusmap.mbd
  7. Delete all unnecessary files in "Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod\user_map\map\europe\" EXCEPT those "sec-1000+1234.*" files. Pack it as a new mod e.g. "base2rusmap.scs" file.
    Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod\user_map |-- (map) |-- (europe) | |-- sec -1000+1234.aux | |-- sec -1000+1234.base | |-- sec -1000+1234.data | |-- sec -1000+1234.desc | |-- sec -1000+1234.layer (if exist) | \-- sec -1000+1234.snd (if exist) \-- europe.mbd
  8. Activate "base2rusmap.scs" in the Mod Manager. Make sure Rusmap also activated and work properly. Test and see if the connection working.

PS:
If the road connection too long, consider to connect two different maps with ferry node.
