What's being referred to here are the game presets that come with Geforce Experience, the bloatware that comes with nVidia GPUs. In all my years, I've not ever had a good experience with having their app make decisions about how to configure a game. I just don't even install that anymore; just do the driver install and then change things per game as needed.
