Just wondering, are there any long nosed trucks?
All I see are the cabovers, but I prefer trucks with longer noses for the looks. Thanks.

there are mods you can download. But in game no, since there are none available in Europe because of length restrictions.

Ok, thanks.

go to http://www.ets2.it for the latest truck mods. It's one of many mod sites. If you don't know how to install mods in this game, there are a lot of guides here in the forum or on YouTube. I drive a Freightliner Classic XL in my game, and have driven a few Peterbilts.

You will have to wait for ATS to have developer desgined long trucks(the proper name is "conventional").There are a few conventional patern trucks sold in Europe Scania makes some but they have a fairly short nose nothing like a North American truck.

the other thing is you still use European trialers which are diffrent in desgin and also shorter than North American(and Aussie trialers) and for me that is kind of a nit pick and I'll wait for ATS to have better North Amercian rigs and better mods.

There are some decent mods A recent one is the Peterbuilt 389 is has little too much detail though so is a resource hog it will not work well with map mods. This truck comes with two sound sets one is inclueded with the truck file and an extra one the extra sounds like total crap which is funny becuase this modder usually is very good and the "standard sounds are excellent. This truck replaces the base DAF and you have to go to the Daf dealer in the Netherlands first to unlock it then it will show up for online sales. It is also very cheap only 66,000 at base trim much cheaper than a real 387 would run you.

There are a few Freightliners and some Volvos(VNL series) as well as Kenworth mods out there. No Macks or Brockways bonus points if you have even heard of Brockway. They should consider a retro mode for ATS plenty of classic trucking fans in the US and Canada.

Here is a Scania "T" with a baby nose.I am just showing you this i have not tried it and the commets do nto sound so good http://ets2.lt/en/scania-t730/#more-23735

Your forgetting what place this game is in.

Europe doesn't have them, or if they do they aren't very long due to narrow roads.

Have to wait until ATS releases to have true american trucks. European trucks are all cabovers as others have stated, so everything you see will be like that.

I have, a few mods downloaded, just because I like American Trucks. They seem to work perfect, but you just gotta learn your turn, before you accidentally hit the other person.

I know this is an old post but you know it alls know nothing. I am from the UK and a local transport company has had big nose trucks for years most notably Scania models. Length restrictions don't really exist, it's all to do with the licence you have. I have HGV class 1 and 2 and can also drive a HGV with three trailers, fully loaded. As I said it's the licence that allows you to drive certain types of vehicle. Also I drive a right hand drive Mack Pinnacle, UK registration. I have never had a problem on open roads, but then again why would you attempt to take a 3 trailer lorry down small roads, minus the Mack??

There are lenght laws in Europe, mainly that a semi truck can only be 16.5m long. That includes both the tractor unit and the trailer, wagon and drags can be 18.75m long max across europe. If a company runs a normal 14m trailer with a Scania T cab they'll be too long and if measured by the police they will be fined for being too long. using a Scania T cab or any imported American truck is perfectly legal as long as the total combination doesn't exceed 16.5m total lenght

It also probably depends on what exemption the company has, my family have all sorts of exemptions, the Mack was built in Stafford UK. I think it also depends on if police are over zealous tbh. Vosa don't bother, so why would the police? I have been stopped by vosa for being over weight but that was one axle, they never questioned the size, although I could see they were surprised lol

In General the DVSA(VOSA has been renamed years ago) won't do anything about a Scania T cab generally, but in other countries they're generally not that lenient when it comes to lenght laws. I wouldn't try running too long in countries like Spain, France or Germany since you will be stopped and not allowed to continue driving with a trailer if the combined lenght is too long.

I haven't been stopped on the continent either, and there's a lot of 2 trailer lorry's in Germany, France and NL. I think it would have to be a vehicle taking up all the road and require an escort for anyone to bother, but I have never gone down small roads. Would I survive?🤔

Just read all the paperwork that applies to me as a driver, I am exempt from length restrictions in Europe, (excluding Andorra) and can have an extra 2.5m side overhang on dual carriageways without escort, however I must be lit up like a Christmas tree lol
