Any "real" effects on euro6 & euro5 engines?
Just have a short and maybe stupid question: Since a couple of trucks have option to choose between euro6 and euro5 engines, I'm really interested if it's a real effect on fuel consumption in the game; e.g. if it's worth buying a euro6 instead of same engine as euro5.

Does anyone knows if there will be a difference? thx

euro engines are for how clean the exhaust gasses are. it's to make truck engines cleaner and better for the environment. don't know if they are fuel saving.

In real life, a Euro6 certified engine would consume less fuel, but I'm not certain it's implemented in the game though.

Thanks for your answers, would be nice to have this implemented throughout upcoming patches etc, meanwhile I use this engine overhaul mod; thanks for the link

yes in the game euro six engines burn less fuel for the same power, Just a bit but in the long haling u see this, but its mostly for the clean air.

The fuel efficiency actually works the other way. Euro 6 trucks are less efficient than the Euro 5’s.
Also Euro 6 Trucks cost a lot more than 5’s.
I guess one implementation they could add would be the increased breakdowns for adblue faults !
