Which settings to use to get the most realistic game possible ?
Hi, I'm not new to the game but I still can't find what settings can I use to get the most realistic game, so, I'm there to ask you which settings make the game realistic for you ?

Personally, I actually use those settings :
  • Fatigue Simulation : Enabled
  • Traffic Offense : Enabled
  • Preferred Job Length Factor : 150%
  • Parking Difficulty : Skilled Parking
  • Random Road Event : 35%
  • Detours : 50%
  • Rain Probabilty : 10%

  • Truck Stability : 92%
  • Cabin Suspension Stiffness : 90%
  • Suspension Stiffness : 85%
  • Driveshaft Torque : 25%
  • Braking Intensity : 95%
  • Air Brake Simulation : Disabled (I don't really understand how it works, so I prefer disabling it to avoid needing to repair my truck every 10 meters I do)
  • Realistic Fuel Consumption : Enabled
  • Uneven Surface Simulation : 130%

  • Advanced Trailer Coupling : Enabled
  • Trailer Stability : 82%

I also use this mod : https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=713338424

I'm mostly looking for truck stability and suspension stiffness settings, because, my settings almost avoid my truck to overturn but it still happen sometimes ... the problem is that I don't know if it's realistic, I don't know if it's easy for a truck to overturn or not, that's why I'm here, some of you might have the answer to my question :)

I'm no expert on truck settings but I have put the braking intensity to 80%. I would have put it even lower but that can cause problems at traffic lights. However, if you want more realism, I would turn the detours off. The map is not detailed enough, for the most part, for there to be a realistic alternative route. I spent most of my working life as a driver and I must have seen less than ten complete road blockages in all that time. And the longest detour I remember having to make in real life was about 45kms because of a swing bridge which had got stuck.

Remember to be sure that the Realistic Truck Physics Mod is working for your truck. If you use a truck mod, you have to make an easy fix folder mod. I didn't realize that at first, so for 1 year I thought it was working, but was using the Scania P G R S mod by Eugene & I had to make that fix folder mod since it didn't work for me. He describes it on his mod website (link in steam workshop description: Additional configuration required for truck mods)

Just in case you didn't noticed 😄 & if you are not using specific truck mods changes, then it should work as is. Amazing mod, now that it work as it should for me. Fixed it 1 month ago.

I do not use any modded truck, I use mods to improve graphics, physics, traffic or add stufff (SISL Mega Pack / SISL Trailer Pack), I prefer keeping vanilla truck :)
