all i remember is i was offered a download i did and it replaced g force experience, i swapped back..
Geforce NOW is a great solution for those, who don't want to invest in hardware but still wants to enjoy PC gaming. I ended up selling my Macbook and bought my current PC.
Yes and that's not GeForce Now.
GeForce Experience: Windows app.
GeForce App: Replacement app for GeForce Experience which is discontinued.
So - you will be forced to use GeForce App instead of Experience sooner or later.
All my online stuff runs really well as it is.
Don't need yet another paid streaming service.
Edit: Just had a look online and found this:
https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4508/~/do-i-need-to-manage-my-nvidia-drivers-or-game-updates-
So it appears I don't need Now app or have I misunderstood the reply?
I think you’re confused. GeForce NOW has nothing to do with drivers. It’s a streaming service that enables you to play games via the internet - streaming the entire game and not having the game itself installed on your computer. This enables people with Macs or potato PC’s to game PC games on their hardware regardless of setup.
GeForce App is a support app you can use for easy driver updates, tweaking game settings and other features. It does not require a subscription of any kind.
GeForce Experience is discontinued.

Also why I should I use it when I already have a load of games on Steam - some of which have their own servers for MMO's (which I don't play as they ain't my sorta thing)?
I also am online with Race Room, AC, Le Mans and several other driving games using their servers, so again, what is the point of this for me unless I have it completely ass about face or as you say, I am totally confused.
if you are able/willing to buy a pc to run the games you want to play, you dont need it.
