Old school steering wheel!

Hi Guys,

I'm using an old Fanatec Speedster 3 steering wheel to try play this, through a ps2 to pc adaptor
The controller works great the problem is that ETS wont accept my pedals as accel/brake axes - presumably due to them being buttons rather than y axis. Any mods/ways to get around this?

Hi i dont know it it workt, but i think it will.

If its true what you say, that the pedals works just like a button and not like for eksample G27 pedals, i have a suggestion.

If you try go to the keyboard settings, then try set that to you pedals, since keyboard is also just buttons i think it would work if your pedals are regonized by your computer.

good call thanks, I think I will need to buy a G27 at some point, there's no way of holding the accelerator or braking softly seeing as it's a button which is either on or off but it works well other wise!

i have the same problem thanks but the accelerate pedal i believe is an analog. i opened it up and i have played on ets2m and it is stuck accelerating when i am driving

Plus the brake is a button

i also have problems mapping keys to the steering wheel and it always as two buttons that are the same so L2 which is button 6 and the center button is also button 6 any one know how to fix?
