I ask if someone else use the 64 bit version using also the Logitech Profiler at the same time...if there is no issue...
TVM
To attempt to answer your question, x64 (64bit) chips "do things" faster than an x86 (32bit) chip.
An x86 OS can only access up to 4gb RAM, no matter how much is installed.
An x86 OS cannot run 64bit programs.
An x64 OS can access much more RAM.
An x64 OS can run 32bit programs.
The larger RAM access may be the "future" reason why SCS has written a 64bit executable. Perhaps to test for upcoming titles, eg ATS, so that it can handle 4K textures? Yes, I know the graphics card does all the pixel work, but the program still has to "keep up", as it were.
Going to try the 64 bit experimental
for me they are identical in performance
people say all kinds of things... I have fraps and evga precision x both running 100% of the time an neither cause problems..
Happy with the 64 bit version of ETS2.
Thank you all for the infos and advices.
