Is Sequential Gearbox hard ?

How hard is it to play manual gearbox with keyboard ? Is it worth it ?

Easy, push button to go gear up/down, id rather use real automatic since i dont have an H shifter, but if i did id use manual, sequential is meh..

Sequential is still better than any automatic. At least you keep some controls over the speed engaged.

Manual any day, it just isnt truck driving if you dont row your own gears.

no, sequential is not hard at all. I drive keyboard only and use sequential and love it. I like having control over the power available when it's needed. I would definately recommend using it and not any of the automatics.

and don't bother shifting by using all the gears, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,etc...

most of the time you will want to do something like 2,4,6, then maybe starting using all of the rest. empty or with a light load you could even start out in 3rd and go 3,6,8,9,10 etc..

you only need all of the low gears when pulling something very heavy or on hills.

But you still need to tap relevant amount of times to select proper gear. Basically, unless you're stuck in dense traffic in city (or just wave of erratic traffic lights you can't catch), you shouldn't bother - most roads needs gears from 9th to 12th to cover all needs. City shuffle is indeed 2-4-6-8.

I chose manual and it took some time to get used to it but it's not that hard it's just more realistic and I like it, I learned when to change gear and in what gears I can reach certain speeds.
Im still getting used to all the controls , I needed to pause a couple of times just to see how to start windshields cause of the rain and stuff like that and it's very cool :D
