How to edit mods
There a great snow mod called The Complete WInter Mod v2.1 but the only way to make it very slippery like I want is to enable the Extreme addon but that also limits my speed to 45kmh which is very unrealistic and annoying imo. I know you can make mods by extracting the standard base file but how can I edit already made mods?

extract the .scs file using WinRAR or 7zip. Edit the files and zip 'em back up as a .scs file

Don't 'compress' when packing files for .scs
Just 'store' them in zip format and rename the extension to 'scs'.
