[SOLVED] Steering randomly lags when using my wheel.
[Solution] If you have a simular problem, make sure you plug the wheel's USB into a USB 2.0 slot and not a 3.0 slot.

Noob wheel user here, i just got a Logitech Driving Force GT today and im running into an issue. Basically, when i try to turn every so often the steering in game locks up and then after a second reajusts to the wheels position. It seems to happen when i do a corner and i steer fast, but also happens during straights when i try to keep myself allined with the road.

I guess your settings in controls settings are wrong. I put my sensitivity all the way up and on your profiler do you have the wheel rotation on 900 degrees?

I figured out it has something to do with force feedback, and its effecting all my games which use the wheel! If i disable force feedback it works perfectly but that really removes some of the realism. Any idea why force feedback causes the problem?

Try going to your video card control panel. Make a condition for this game and set "maximum prerendered frames to 1"

You should put [SOLVED] in the title and include the solution in the OP. Just in case someone with the same issue encounters this thread. (the same for your thread on AC) :)

Thank you sooooooooooo much. The steering lag is completely gone. I can't believe all I had to do is change it from USB 3.0 to USB 2.
