yes but im not talking about a major light... im talking about a light like the dashboard provides. anyway i get your point guys. i just get annoyed because i can't even see the wheel between 0:00 and 4:00 am x)
they are everywhere. The op's problem is that the ambient light from the dash and also light coming thru the windows isn't enough to see by, like it should be.
Sounds to me like the truck you're driving doesn't have any "lights" on the steering wheel. I know Scania doesn't. Makes it very difficult to see the orientation of the wheel when driving at night.
I fixed it by changing trucks to Volvo, which has CC buttons, hands-free phone buttons, etc so I can see it at night. These steering wheel buttons don't work of course, but they do make for a handy way of seeing the wheel.
Is that what you mean?
Also, adjust your seat position backwards a little, to show more of the steering wheel.
