Right on red?
I had assumed most traffic laws were the same in Europe as they are here in America but I was just ticketed for turning right on a red light. Is this not legal in Europe?

In most, if not all, cases no.

Don't think so.
I noticed that in the States years ago. Good idea.
In Australia "Left Turn On Red Permitted after Stopping" signs are starting to appear, but it's only legal at the intersections displaying the sign.

I had no idea that you're allowed to turn right on a red light :O
Every red light in my country means total stop.
But as Nono54Fr linked, we have a lot of green arrows!

Ok thanks guys. Well I guess that is something useful to know, here in America you can usually turn right on red unless there is a sign saying you can't.

No right turns on red.
There are exceptions but this GAME doesn't support these.

If you don't know yet there's NO consistency to the roadsigns either. Each country has their own.

But you do get to hang countless floodlights and frilly curtains on your truck!!!

Welcome to Europe.

I did it once without getting a fine :P

Funny, that. I just recently restarted the game from square 1. I've driven through a few red lights with no fines. A couple of speed cameras ignored my 90kmh speed through an 80kmh speed trap.
I put it down to the game having a few omissions :)

v1.14 did add late night flashing interchange traffic lights in (some) towns.
So I wouldn't be surprised with there being inadvertent problems (bugs) introduced along with the numerous changes.
v1.15 is about to be released - perhaps it may address the 'lawlessness' some of you have been able to get away with.

I certainly hop 1.15 addresses the autosave_drive nonsense.

Red light fines are random. Maybe you get one maybe you wont :P

In Canada, you can turn right on red unless specified.

See Canada gets it :) lol was wondering about the multiplayer, I signed up online but did not see exatly how to play online. I am online but there were no other drivers around on my job. Do I need to buy my own truck first? I only have about 20k right now so I have a long way to go

Another California first, eventually followed by the other 49 states.

Haven't tested yet whether or not SCS have done anything in v1.14 to curtail my use of the 'California Stop'.

I would say it's a given in the up-coming ATS game.
