[SOLVED] Is it possible to max out all skills?
Hi
I'm sorry if there is something about my problem in another topic, but I didn't find any. So question is really simple. Is it possible to gain every possible skill points to max out every skill in the game? I wanted to do game a little bit harder for me, so at first I maxed out Economy drive which is COMPLETELY useless as a first skill :) then I move to High value cargo, then fragile, long distance, short time and ADR as last winning skill. And now I'm afraid if isn't there limited skill points same as in RPG games. Thanks in advance

Don't worry you can max out all of your skills. From what I learned so far regarding skills is:

long distance > ADR > just in time > fragile > valuable > ECO.

Yes you can max everything. You become a 10.0 rated driver. I am currently level 41 'King of the Road'. You keep gaining xp and levels once you have maxed everything.

Yes. And imho, you get the most 'bang for your buck', if you put one point in each category first. The first point always has the most increase in income, aside that fact that you can do those jobs in the first place. Which results in more job options with more income.

Many people say you should put all your points into long distance first, but that won't necessarily net you any more money or xp, considering you then need to do way longer hauls to complete the job (in the time you might do several shorter hauls). Which may or may not get boring. The most xp (and money, most of the time) will come from jobs that have multiple classes.

Perhaps, but with the exception of ECO, which should have the lowest priority.

If you use an economy mod that will extend the game. Also make you think about "skilling up", not only for you but your employees.
Still max out skills but takes longer doing it, whether that, for some people, makes it boring or not, that is for them to decide.

Thanks for your answers. I know, that there are hundreds ways how to levelling up better, but I choosed this slowly way, because I love this game especially when plug my steering wheel. It's some sort of different world for me :D

You get your skill points so fast, it's almost a blur storywise. In fact, It seems that most players gave themselves some specific restrictions to enhance the feeling of ownership of their cie (ie: full fleet aka same brand, same color)

Currently, I'm headed in a sillier different direction :
- country capital = 5 slots garages
- smaller town = 3 slots garages (or none)
- always female for 1st driver (aka the chief) and male for slot 2-to-5 drivers
- three (or five) same brand truck per garage
- brand of truck is from a local dealer, not imported
- first truck for chief is always deluxe cab & co
- all trucks are retarded and above 500Hp
