how to change brightness of dashboard

Due to 1.17.1 and the Scandanavia dlc i can't figure out how to brighten the dashboard inside the truck since I only use the cab view

Was that ever a option?
I honestly don't recall that as a option ever.
Maybe via a mod?

If ya need em brigher during daylight, just run with running or headlights on, however
that drops frame rate which can be a issue for lower end systems depending on
graphics settings.

If the "dashboard brightness" slider is all the way to the right, that's as bright as it gets.

Enabling HDR if it isn't already will also brighten the dash up a bit, and make the gauges/displays easier to read.

Isn't that a GPU hog for those of us (meaning just me) with lower-end cards?

I have a really low end card myself, well crossfired low end cards that still amount to rubbish. I played around with the settings... disabling shadows/sunshafts and such allows me to use HDR and high texture settings.

Yep. I just went into the game and enabled it, but haven't driven around yet because I'm threatening my bank account with the purchase of Scandinavia :/
