[Help needed] How to add a company?

Hello @all,

After some searches and unsuccessfull tries, I need your help.

How can I add a company in is game?

Let say that I want to get a company named "Whatever" that will only use krone trailers and those will only be available at Posped and eAcres.

Does any one will be kind enough to get me some helps?

Nota: I don't want to change the original trailers (Posped, eAcres, EuroGoodies,...), I don't want to remane a company, I just want to add some trailers with "Whatever" labeled on them.

I dont know how to do it, but if you go here: http://ets2.comitek.pl/download you will find separate downloads for Krone Profi and Cool liners, skinned with realistic companys. You can then open the .scs files in the zips and look through the structure without risking to do damage to the original files. It is in the def´s and traffic storage files I would guess you can set the companys the trailer will go to.

You need to make standalone trailers then.

This tutorial will help you set up standalone trailers. (video at the bottom as well)

I've used it and it works fine for me.

There is a YouTube host called Webbo. He has tutorials online of doing trailers, trucks, and yes, companies. I just followed his instructions and I got my company name in the load selection menu, on the map when you're close enough, and across the sign on the place. Pespod is now PDQ Logistics! :)

I've used it and it works fine for me.

Interresting lecture so far, I should install Blender now (when I'll have some time).
And I got a 404 error when trying to download the MAT Templates on the "Tools & Extra" page. If someone has them... Would be great.

Ah yes, Webbo's, saw that video some days ago, twice.
Unfortunatly, as I mentionned, I don't want to change any company in game.
But for people that never saw that video, watch it! :)

You won't need the mat file for the trailers. It's just for the shop icon for truck skins.

But I'll let the site owner know.

Alright, thanks for the info.
Have download everything (except MAT templates of course), in case I'll "need" them later.
