Resolution changes to 640x480 [Linux]
Every time I open the game, change graphics settings, or close the game, my screen's resolution changes to 640x480, but in a weird way. Everything on the screen turns black except the top left 640x480 corner and I have to open the display window and change the resolution and then change the resolution back to native (1366x768). I am using Xubuntu 14.04.1 and a gt 755 with driver version 331.113 if that helps.

Same here on Linux Mint 17.3 with Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM, Geforce GTX 960M 4GB. Instead of full screen I get a really low resolution picture in the top left corner. The rest is just blackness.

I am in NVIDIA 352.63.

Any suggestions?

I never did find a fix. Sorry! :steamsad: It did the same thing when I used mint too.

It doesn't do that on AMD hardware though, if you can stand the worse performance.

As I am on Linux Mint 17.3 Cinnamon x64 it helps when I restart Cinnamon with CTRL+ALT+ESC after starting the game.

Cinnamon?

I5 3337U, DDR3 6GB 1600mhz, geforce 730m. I've tryed on Ubuntu 14.04 and Mint 17 Cinnamon. In Fedora and opensuse i had no knowledge to install the driver because of Nvidia Optimus technology :/

Cinnamon is Linux Mint main desktop environment.

I had the same problem but with CTRL+ALT+ESC I could solve it.

What OS do you have installed? Some system specs would be nice.

Deepin OS 15, Intel core i3 2348M, Nvidia GT 635M with 252.x driver. 500GB HDD 8GB ram. But as I see i am not the online one with this problem.

Looks like this only happens in Debian based systems and GPU's Nvidia with Optimus technology
