Most popular trucks (in the reallity)

I was spent some time on the road today (about 1 hour, 20 minutes, or in kilometers - I've travelled for 81 kilometers). And my "researching" would give us some interesting informations.

First place goes to MAN (total: 26 trucks, tractors: 14)
Second place - Mercedes Benz (total: 20 trucks, tractors: only 2)
Third place - Volvo (total: 8 trucks, tractors: 6)
Fourth place - Scania (total: 5 trucks, tractors: 4)
Fifth place - Iveco (total: 4 trucks, 0 tractors)
Sixth place - Renault (only one tandem truck)

Today on the road I've not seen any DAF.

I live in Croatia.

Again, sorry for bad english.
P. S. I wasn't counted "smallest trucks" wich looks like a van (with open "cargo space")

Well it really deppends on country. And just over hour is too less to make such comments. Two days ago I was travelled road '8' (Warsaw-Białystok). The road links Warsaw with Lithuanian/Belarusan border. And there was planety of trucks (especially lithuanian and russian). There wasn't the most popular brand.

I live in Denmark, here you can see most of the following most of the first down after

1 Scania
2 Volvo
3 MAN
4 Iveco
5 Mercedes
6 DAF
7 Renualts

In France I see a lot of Renault Premium. I can't tell which brand is most popular tho. I see all of the trucks that are in the game. The rarest ones seems to be the old Iveco Stralis. And I don't see much Renault Magnum neither.

yeah... I know what you ment to say, but earlier I was saying that MAN is most popular in Croatia (definitely- there's no doubt). But I must admitt I was think that second place belong to Scania. (I'm driving every day on that same rute (for a relatively long time - 4 years). But I know that results can be different, still not too different.

I don't know what it is like in UK as i said i live in Denmark and there i see must what i have write, ofcouse i can only talk for the city i live in. Becouse it's there i see must of them, it can be diffrent in other parts of my Country.

Yeah, indeed. I only added the "disclaimer" to my post because I expected some other users from the UK (I've seen a few of them on this forum) to pop up and write something along the lines of "Well, in my part of the UK, I see only Renaults - so you're wrong!". :) That part of my post wasn't in reply to anything in yours, I just wanted to be clear to anyone reading mine.

Anyway. I was hoping users from more countries would post in this thread, 'cause it's interesting (to me) to see the distribution and popularity of truck brands across Europe and the world.

If you go with (more or less) official numbers (worldwide from last year), then Mercedes is number one followed by 2 chinese manufacturers, and then comes Man-Scania and then volvo.

Yeah, I totaly agree. I mean, I'm not looking for a "official data" about selling results, I'll be satisfied if people only tell us their impressions.
