KamAZ Great truck?

As little as I've been around the old dump trucks as a kid... no. I suppose current model is much better, but most Soviet vehicles of that era in general have zero attention to comfort (that includes suspension response, exhaust fumes getting in the cabin, smell of fuel, burning oil from run down engine etc.). Was fun for a kid to be around them, but it's a physical and mental endurance test to be in, much more to drive them day-by-day.

On that note, if I have to go through that sort of torment, Ural-4320 takes the spot with its off-road capabilities.

In comparison, most current truck cabins are so nice I think I'd rather live in them instead of my house if I had that sort of life.

Why not? Maybe for someone to drive KAMAZ very difficult ... maybe .... But I live in Russia, and I see a lot of KAMAZ vehicles on the roads, so anything is possible, it would wish. And where does comfort you are working to deliver the goods, but not cool off under the air conditioner.

Just because they're popular in your country (the one where they're made) doesn't mean they're popular (or even permitted) everywhere else.
