Reverting the game to an previous version.
I would like to know if it's possible to revert the game to an older version. Before 1.18 I had a mod for the mercedes logo in-game and stuck with the chosen because, last I checked, I could turn it off with no problems to my game files. Today I removed it because the new Actros wasn't showing in the shop (plus there's no need for it now), but my saves couldn't load. Is there a way to revert to a previous game version so I may be able to turn the mod off with no issues affecting my save? I really don't want to have to start all over if I can help it :(

Ok. Maybe I'm ok as I clicked on my latest save and was able to load the game without any issues. Fingers crossed I won't have any issues (shouldn't have).

The answer to your question, just so you know the answer, is yes, you can roll back. Go to your library, right click on the game, and go to Properties, Betas, then click the drop down and select from the list the version you want to drop back to.

Keep in mind Steam will remove the current version, then download and replace it with the version you pick. I highly recommend you back up your profiles before doing this. Just to be safe.

Ok. Thanks for the info. I really need to back up my profiles more often :P Shouldn't have much of an issue now as all I use are a few custom truck skins which I made myself.

thanks i was wanting to know the same thing because i was going to use the 1:1 scale map
mod and its only compatable with 1.4
