Can't Find Upgrades
I keep getting the "New Upgrades Available" icon in the main menu, as to be expected. When I click it, I see new parts for my truck, an Iveco Hi-Way. I see engines, lights, visors, etc. I also see exhaust upgrades and side skirts. I'm wanting to get these upgrades onto my truck, but I cannot figure out how. Literally the only time I can change the exhaust, for example, is if I go to buy a whole new truck (in which case they don't show up). Am I missing something, or am I only able to change certain parts when buying a new truck?

you have to go to a garage and pick upgrades

Not all of the upgrades you unlock are for the particular model/chassis of truck you currently drive.

You misunderstood, I believe. I know how to get to the upgrades. It's that certain types do not appear.

Well that's dumb. Why tell me I unlocked new parts but not tell me for which model/chassis they're for? Oh well. I'm going to get a new truck soon anyways (just need to level up one more time).

It's been a while since I have unlocked any upgrades, but I think it does actually tell you which model the upgrade is for... Unless they changed this in the 1.17 update.

"Left Exhaust: Elegance (Iveco Hi-Way)"
"Right Exhaust: Elegance (Iveco Hi-Way)"

Outside of that, it has the prices (5,010 each, in this case)

That tells you what truck model they are for, the Iveco Hi-Way there is more than one model of each truck in the game you have to match the upgrades to the particular truck model they are for.

All trucks upgrades are unlocked at level 30. After level 30 New Upgrades Available icon 'll be automatically disappear from top left corner.

Hi tridecagon,

After clicking the "New Upgrades" button, you will see a short preview list of parts available for your truck. Please click on the "Set GPS To Nearest Shop" button to reroute your SATNAV. The SATNAV will only reroute if you have no pending deliveries.

Hope this helps,

Zimnaan

Things like the side pipes (the exhausts) and skirts are mainly only for 4x2 trucks (blame SCS). All other unlocked parts should fit on all trucks.

The exception is the DAF Euro 6 and some of the Mercedes-Benz (aka the old Majestic) trucks. The DAF and new Merc have skirts for all frame configs, whereas the old Mercs only don't have skirts for the short 6x frames (the ones with the 2nd steering axle).

Exhausts only fit on long-frame trucks, though the new Actros has no exhaust upgrades (it's got its own unique exhaust setup instead, though - a pipe big enough to put your leg through).

You need the sideskirts first if you want to use these. Don´t remember if the skirts comes with the Hi-Way from the start.

SCS added some new upgrades for new Actros in beta 1.18.0.2 to 1.18.0.8. New Actros has lack of upgrades this time but hopefully SCS 'll add new upgrades in near future.
