Can my computer run this?
I'm trying to run this at 40 FPS at the least with the best graphics the game has to offer.

My specs:

Memory:16 GB RAM
Processor: Intel Core i5-4570 3.20 GHz
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 9400 GT 1 GB
(Hard Drive has more then enough space)

Please let me know whether or not I have to upgrade something or if I can run the game smoothly as is.

You may not be able to put the settings up very high with that GPU.

GTX 760 is recommended. Comparing yours with it, sounds like no. Take a look here: http://www.hwcompare.com/14937/geforce-9400-gt-256mb-vs-geforce-gtx-760/

Yeah I know that my processor can run the game well but my GPU is the issue. I'd have liked to be able to run this on decent graphics, but it seems I'll have to spend a few bucks on a GTX 760.

I run ETS2 with low to medium graphic settings on my lowly GT 630 which is a better graphics card then your 9400 GT. Your CPU and memory should be just fine for high settings.

your 9400gt is too old and weak. It wasn't a good card when it came out 7-8 years ago, now it's pretty much worthless for newer games. It will be better than no gpu, but you will have to have everything on their lowest settings to get a playable game. It won't look good, and wont' be anywhere near 40fps I am afraid.

There is a demo available for this game, I would recommend downloading that and see how it works. If it's good enough for you, then you can buy it.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll do that right now and see how it performs. And yeah, I bought the GPU while it was on sale about 3 years ago. I never bothered to upgrade it because I never needed to do so.

you have severe issues with your computer then.. I run at max settings on a 970 and it stays close to 60fps all the time with vsync on.
