Hard crash when using the ferry.

I get a hard crash when I travel across the ferry. The crash causes my system to reboot unless I am quick enough to end the ets2 process with the task manager. I can reproduce the crash constantly when I fast travel from my Aberdeen garage to my Debrecen garage. Have tried both the 64bit and 32bit versions and they both crash in the same spot.

I am using the official version (non-beta)

System specs:

PSU : Corsair Tx750w
MB : Foxconn A7DA-S 3.0 AM3
CPU : AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black 9.0MB @ 3.3GHz
RAM : G.SKILL 8GB DDR3-1333 2048MB x 4

No. Never have. Never tried mp either. Vanlla sp all the way. I even did a clean install of my video driver to the new feb whql.

My card never heats up either. I run the newest version of Afterburner, so my temps are the first thing I checked. I monitor my CPU,GPU, and mobo temps. They all stay in the green.

Edit:
Forgot to mention... Thanks for posting Charger. It's good to know it's not just me. I wonder if this crash is due to something in the new patch causing problems with the Nvidia 2xx series? Do you force any settings in your Nvidia control panel?

Not for me. Only Ets2.

Try rolling back to a previous version of the game, and if the problem disappears, you'll know that it's the current version of the game causing your problem.

Will my current saves work with an earlier version? I don't have any saves from the previous versions. I have overwritten them all.

Yes they will work. If you're worried though, just back up your profile.

Well, it's hardly problem solved as such, but at least by rolling back, you can play the game without crashing.

Sweet! Thanks for the info guys! I haven't had a chance to roll back yet but I will do so later tonight. Do the devs read the forums her or should I let them know about the bug? Would be nice to continue using 64bit! :P

It wouldn't hurt to let them know anyways, I'm sure they're aware of it, but the more people reporting the same issue is always a good thing.

k. will do. I just remembered.... Before I figured out what was causing the crash, I had a nvlddmkm error. When I looked it up I found it was a multi-threading error. I forced multithreading support OFF in my nv control panel but still got the crash. Figured I should post that here too in case it helps someone figure out what the issue is.

Just to let y'all know, I sent in an error report to ECS and a link to this topic. I'll let you all know what I learn. I wouldn't be surprised if they add a comment as well.
