But many mod version trucks, well some anyway, have optional light mounts on rear of the
truck cabs where you can mount reverse lights, or at the rear bumper.
My favorite mod truck for the past month and a half, is the Scania T.
I am unaware of any mods that allow such for default trucks but I admit I never looked hard for such as I"m more of a fan of trucks with a bonnet aka hood. That means mod truck.
The latest Scania T version lets me mount a reverse light on sides of one front bumper choice
and on the rear bumper (one of the rear options, it is not on all options)
I used to use a older Peterbilt 389 mod that allows similar but no longer use it as it
has not been properly updated since ETS 1.11 and is in constant FFB collision due to game alterations by SCS with 1.11. Only a issue if you use a wheel with FFB though.

Thanks mate!!!!! It will help me and other's allot.
not in real life they don't
Being that I live down the road from a yard and watch trucks all day long, I think I would know what they do and do not have. You're free to check out this photo and tell me what the silver pod connected to the rear of the cab around 3/4 of the way up is though.

Granted it's more the older trucks that have the side mounted flood lights, new trucks tend to have flood lights mounted to the rear of the cab but 90% of them do have flood lights for illuminating behind the tractor.

Is that the sorta thing yo9u after?
ligthing up the behind the cab is different from lighting the area behind the trailer. Once you connect the tractor to the trailer any back up lights on the tractor become innefective for lighting the area behind the trailer.
