Everytime I start ETS2 now, I get a notice saying something like "Additional SDK-Features requested" and something about the game not being licensed for public use. Does anyone know why I get that message?

Are you using Fanaleds or other 3rd party software that 'plug in' to the game?
(I'm using Fanaleds and get that as well, nothing to worry about with that atleast)

No. I only use the ETS2+Going East+Heavy Duty Pack I got via steam. Sometimes I play MP though.

Hey Guys,

I have the same problem and also no idea.
I tried everything, but nothing works.
- moving all mods
- start without commands (-nointro -mm_pool_size 2000)
- closing all "overlays" (MSI Afterburner , DXtory , .....)
- checking file integrity multiply times

Here's a Screenshot for all who don't know what we are talking about.

One little thing I don't want to test right now (except re-installing and delete all profiles), at this time I'm in the [public_beta] 1.14.0.6 ... maybe someone can try this out?

So if anyone had a suggestion, please reply.

Multiplayer mod is now injecting a DLL which is using some SDK features.

Thank you Timmy, you were right.

The Multiplayer installed a DLL to the "eurotruck2.exe"
(..\SteamApps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2\bin\win_x86\plugins\mp_launch_helper.dll)

Renaming it to "mp_launch_helper._dll", so the EXE didn't load it, and the message doesn't show up.

So the message has nothing special to say, its just a little bit annoying.

DarkBasic, in this folder "plugins" i have only "trucksbook_32.dll" need some help guys!!
when i activate the console the console says something about the SDK and i have this message too when i play the game "Additional SDK etc."

Any plugin will cause that message to pop up. TrucksBook uses information from the SDK of the game to send to their site for logging your trips. If you remove the DLL, you lose those logging features.
