The best truck to buy it's not easy to say, what truck brand do you like, that truck with the biggest engine is Volvo the best if you want that, but you really don't need any engine over 500 hp to anything in the game, I drive in a Scania R500 Topline and i have pulled the heavy 65 ton train from Jazzycats Trailermod with that truck.

I would go for that truck you think was best to drive in when you drive in until now, think it over it is a truck where you use many hours, so you have to like the way it act and looks.

I'm going to go for the Scania trucks after checking out all the dealers i've unlocked

Try the MAN TGX as well. It's a really solid truck, especially earlier in the game. The tallest cab has a huge windshield, and the overall visual setup really appeals to me. Also, it takes damage very well, so it helps keep your repair costs down. Hope this helps. :cross:

The best truck is the one you enjoy driving. They all get the job done. Everyone has their own preferences. My suggestion to to try them all then decide which you like the best.

I myself drive the Scania. Started with the Scania and upgraded it as I leveled. Now I have the top of the line Streamline.

Early on Volvo is the best truck to get. It has the most power you can get cheaply at a low level. Once you level up, MAN becomes attractive, and then at lvl 25 Scania joins the big boys.. lol

it's all subjective though. Do quick jobs and see which truck you like the best, then buy that one.

At ~10 you can get an Iveco with a fairly good engine and a 2x4 chassis. Right out of the gate it has a pretty lackluster engine, but once you can fit something serious in there it's a solid investment IMHO.

Honestly I use use the same truck I bought back at level 2 and just expand on it as I level, only other reason to buy more trucks (that you will drive) is for a specific steam achievement, you have to drive a certain distance in each truck brand to unlock it.

True, but if you're like me you're already preparing for them to go live. I have my 100% of roads, all garages owned, and have gone ahead and bought and fully upgraded a truck from each make to drive for that achievement. Not that you have to do so, but you can.
Man, that's a really good Truck.

Well,i saved hard Hongary -euro's for a Volvo FH 16 Classic with the 600pk/hp engine and that is REALY more than enough for every-map. I use it for the Hungary-map en with the 6x2 axle-combination. It pull's everything and even with a full packed option, its not expensive. Maybe later it follow's with a Scania R serie 500pk/hp V8 also with a 6x2 combination.
