Ets2 crash on win 8.1
I'm bought a new notebook and install windows 8.1 on it. Then i download steam and copy ets 2 folder from my old notebook. When i start game, i can play for 1-2 minutes, and then game crash. How can i fix it?

Everyone say it with me here; 3.. 2.. 1.. Buy a proper PC. Notebook? Wtf is wrong with you people? You buy into this ♥♥♥♥ and expect to play high-requirement games with them, seriously?

Why did you copy the ETS 2 folder instead of letting Steam download it? Or do you mean the savefolder? If you for some reason copy a gamefolder from one PC/Notebook to another all the keys in the registry will be missing.

i copy game folder 'cause i have slow internet (downloading ets2 will take more then 1 night).

I say somethenig about playing on high settings? New notebook's will run ets2 on med/high settings. If i want to play ets2 2 times per week i must buy gamer's pc?

right click on your game in the steam library and select properties>local files>verify integrity of local cache. If there is something wrong with the game files that should fix it by downloading only the parts that are bad.

If that doesn't work, you might try backing up your config.cfg somewhere and then deleting the original. I believe the game will create a new config and you can set it for that notebook. If it doesn't, you still have original backed up to restore.
