humm must have missed it. thanks.
i went back through and looked at all dealerships again... couldnt find it...
Make sure the T800.scs file is in Documents > ETS2 > mod folder.
After that when you launch the game and reach the profile screen click on the profile you want to enable it on and hit edit profile. On the right you will see a list of any mods that are in the mod folder. Simply make sure the mod has a check next to it and away you go.
On a side note, if you like that truck you may also like the Peterbilt 389 which can be found at http://ets2.lt/en/peterbilt-389-v-4-0/ . I am not sure if they have a more updated version anywhere, but this one works just fine with 1.16.
@ Knagar the Mod i got still wasnt working. found a T800 1.2 on the same site as that peterbilt which does not work either. i sent it through elite unzip to see if that would fix it, but it didnt. tried the peterbilt you provided a link for, that didnt work either. tried a freightliner which didnt work as well.... i have absolutely no clue what im doing wrong!
this is a good truck pack. It has that Kenworth, a Freightliner Coronado and Peterbilt 379.
as others said, the Kenworth is available at DAF dealers, the Peterbilt at MAN dealers and the Freightliner at Majestic dealers.
these are some nice trucks.
the only issue I am having is something that sounds like an alarm started going off near the end of a trip with the Kenworth, not sure what that is about. I haven't play with them much yet, so I haven't been able to figure it out.
are you using winrar or 7 zip to unpack the files after download? then you take the .scs files you get after unpacking and put them in the /documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mods folder. After that you have to edit your profile and and check the boxes next to the mods you want to enable. After that, the trucks should be at the dealers.
is that something new to the game? or is it included in that mod? anyway, I thought I still wasn't even halfway to a rest period yet, but I will check. thanks for the tip.
It almost sounds like a series of beeps coming from the computer like a bad POST or something.
Are you using the multiplayer mod? This mod disables all others.
What other mods have you got enabled? One of them may be over-riding your Kenworth mod.
i use elite unzip and all the files go right into the mod folder of ETS2
when i go to enable the mods there isnt a single one there. i click enable all just incase and try to find em but i have no luck.
You're not unzipping them to the point of seeing folders like "def", "vehicle" etc in your mod folder are you?
i dont know... i get the mod throw it in the folder try it. if it doesnt work i run it through elite unzip which drops them back in the mods folder and i try again.
i have no clue what the fu ck im doing....
with your single truck, after unpacking there will be just one file,
xxx_Kenworth_T800_for_kriechbaum_v1.01.scs
paste that into your mod folder.
if something isn't showing up, enabling all isn't going to help. All that does is put a check in each box.
tried it again. threw the mod through EZip but this time threw everything into a different folder (it doesnt matter what one) pulled the file (?) out of the folder EZip made and dropped that in the mods folder
BAM IT WORKS!
thanks guys for all your help, sorry im such a pain in the buttox.
Also, if your unzipping directly to the mods folder, make sure it isn't being extracted into it's own folder. Winrar for example will do this.
