Direct11

It's driving me crazy. One day direct11 works and then suddenly the next day it doesn't. I haven't made any changes to my computer so it's not my fault. I always use direct11 because I can use dlss there where I get more fps and much better quality. The only thing that opens euro2 is opengl. Other options don't work and it happens at random times. I've already uninstalled the game and reinstalled it and removed hdr and disabled discord overlay, closed nvidia api and also msi afterburner. Even when all these things were running in the background direct11 worked.

ETS2 doesn't support DLSS.

And if you want help a better description would be helpfull.
When are you having that issue?
What are your hardware specs?
Are you using mods?

Are you now on a beta version of the game - I don't think that the DLSS mod will have been updated to work on a beta - see mod website for more info on compatible game build versions.

I dont use beta. Dlss works with snowmoon mod. Yesterday was working fine. Today started again. I deleted all mods to try and no luck. I have all updates and everythink. Like I said i havent made any changes from lastnight. My hardware specs are all good, even with RT high in cyperpunk i have 100fps. But why euro2 dosent work with direct11? Sometimes work and most of the time dont. I press Start, then i can choose standart, direct11, openGL, safe mode. I choose direct11 and press start and waiting about 5 sec, then start button appears again and game wont start. Only option what is working is OpenGL like wtf?
Whay im using direct11? Becouse in opengl i have Gpu usage only 40% and cpu 20% and my fps is on ultra 30-80. With direct11 I have gpu usage 90-100% and fps is locket 165fps alltime with ultra

Alright, so we got no hardware specs besides good. Thus I will assume that your hardware is at minimum specs. If this isn't the case, state your hardware specs!
Have you deactivated the Nvidia overlay already?

Yes i deactivated overlay i know that can be problem. My hardware is more than enought so i thought its not worth to mention. Like I said its was fine yesterday and today not.

Now its working. I hope or i think i figured it out. Snowmoon had 2 files. dxgi.dll and dinput8.dll . I deleted these and worked with direct11 now. But now i cant use dlss mod and better or more quality picture but at least i have now stable 165fps locked :)

Get the 10.2.17 free version and stick with game version 1.53.
