That's a shame. Hell, I wish it was like the old Haulin' days where you could just edit an INI file. I would like to basically just edit the amount of cash I have again to almost nothing after I fire off all my drivers and sell my trucks, that way I can "start over" financially and build my company over again from the ground up on the LP.
Thanks for the help. I'll still be holding on to hope that maybe someone can still chime in with some good news.

I write to Zombie Lee, not for you, stay a way, dont write back anything on my comment.
Any idea if this works with 1.16?
If anyone finds out that would be most excellent. Would make things a lot easier on my end.
Get scs_extractor.exe from EuroTruckSimulator2 website.
Unpack def.scs (from your game folder) to a new folder on your desktop.
All the prices and unlock levels for all trucks and accessories are in .sii files residing in various folders through the def folder.
Edit the appropriate .sii files, (with Notepad) changing the price to 1 and the level to 0.
Save each file as you go.
When you're done, re-pack each of the edited files (and only the edited files) into their original folder structure in a new desktop folder called "def"using the 'store' compression method and 'zip' compression type.
Rename your archive to: zzzzzzzzzz_unlocked.scs and place it in your mod folder.
(Easy isn't it lol)
This mod will only affect stock trucks and stock accessories. It will not affect 3rd party mods.
Just to be fair if people want to cheat on their own personal save game I don't see why that would bother, hurt or make anyone upset. They aren't doing it online and it doesn't ruin or hinder your gameplay in any way. Besides it's just a trucking game, it's not like we have world leader boards on who is the best trucker. lol
I personally like to keep profiles with unlimited cache and everything unlocked so I can test and review mods before I consider adding them to my modded profile. At the same time I've got a clean profile that I have had since the game was launched that I play often where i have earned everything I have.
This is great! Thank you so much for the help, I really appreciate it.
Like Knagar says, I didn't realize how many people would be so upset by this and act like I'm committing a shameful act....I already unlocked everything by playing the game from level 0 all the way to king of the road. I'm like level 65 now or something, and I earned it every step of the way.
The only reason I'm looking to unlock stuff is because I have a YouTube channel I want to record an LP of now that we have a 64-bit version exe and I can get smooth record rates that'll look nicer in HD and I don't really have the time to grind and unlock parts. I'm going to start with no cash or an extremely high bank loan that will be a challenge enough for the series, and not as boring as watching me wish I had a level 32 paintjob and in the meantime putting an ass ugly paint on instead.
I think people who give themselves huge obscene amounts of cash, like billions are the cheaters, but again, as Knagar said, to each their own. It's all of our game, and as long as we aren't hacking ETS Multiplayer then we're golden. I'm doing my LP in single player, so again, not really hurting anyone.
Anyways, I guess back on topic, thanks so much to everyone who posted helpful information, especially room217au. Thank you so much guys!
